Reaction to U.N Conference

In response to the United Nations Meeting held yesterday, Iran would like stress the fact that we are here for Turkey. While we do not condone of their alliances with the west and particularly the United States, we still believe that Turkey deserves our help after the bombing that killed and wounded hundreds of people. We also believe that the US is the cause of a lot of the tension over nuclear weapons. This attack was carried out because of the 90 American nuclear missiles positioned at Incirlik.

Iran would also like to again emphasize the fact that we have no affiliation with the terrorists that carried out the attacks, nor do we condone them. The alliance between Iran and Turkey has been growing stronger, and we wish to help them in anyway possible. An investigation to uncover who was behind these attacks is being conducted. Cooperation with the West in the investigation is highly unlikely, but we still intend to discover the terrorist organization behind the bombings.

The Nonproliferation Treaty was also brought up at the UN meeting. The US has been pressuring Iran to sign the treaty. This shows the hypocrisy of America, they want a nuclear-free zone in the Middle East but they have 90 nuclear missiles at Incrilik. Even though Iran has no intention of acquiring nuclear weapons, we will not sign a treaty that allows the US to poses nuclear arms, but bars Iran from doing so.
