Irans's Statement
We have received news about the events that occurred yesterday, and we are sorry that such a tragedy had to happen. We will help Turkey if they require aid, but if they do not want help we will let them deal with this on their own. We would like to stress the fact that Iran had no part in the terrorist attacks. There is no link between us and the terrorists that carried out the bombings. There is no proof that we have been funding the organization that carried out these attacks and we do not approve of the attacks. Turkey is our ally. Recently we have been on increasingly better terms with them. They have been fighting against the new round of sanctions that the UN is trying to impose on the UN. Turkey is serving as a mediator between us and the other countries and is an important ally. Any claim that we have a connection to the attacks is foolish and a lie. We would like to mention again that if Turkey needs assistance we are here to provide it. We are sorry about the events that occurred, but until more information is found out about the attacks, we will not say more.
